How do I send my device?

If you know exactly what device you have and what is wrong with it:

You can purchase a service by clicking here, choosing your device, then choosing the service you'd like us to perform. Once you checkout, mail your device to us with order number in the box. We'll fix it & ship it right back to you.

If you're not sure what you need done and just want a free estimate:

Fill out the form on the right of the page & ship your device to us. We'll contact you with an estimate once we receive it. Do keep in mind we do data recovery on all different brands of phones, hard drives, laptops & sdcards, but do not perform repairs on any laptops besides Apple's Macbooks.

We offer a free estimate to retail customers.

The only fees you would incur if you do not want to repair the device, would be paying to transport the device to us, and return shipping should you not wish to repair it. If you have a repair business and are sending us devices, this does not apply. If you are a repair business, you only pay if we can fix the device, but if you send a device and do not wish to pay for a repair that we can complete, there is a $50 estimate fee. We have had many other repair stores send us devices so that we can figure out what is wrong with each only for them to fix them themselves, and the rampant abuse of the free estimate policy by other repair shops has forced us to limit free estimates to standard retail customers. 

How much is return shipping to get my device back to me?

We offer free return shipping of your device in the continental U.S. if you are having service done. If you decline to have the device repaired, there is a return shipping fee for devices that is subject to our cost + handling fee. Free shipping is exclusively for devices which we do repair within the continental United States. For larger, heavier devices, an additional fee for shipping may apply.

Do you offer free international shipping?

NO!! We strongly suggest that you pursue service in your country of origin before sending a device halfway around the world for us to repair it. We have piles of boards sitting here waiting to go back to customers who do not want to pay customs duties or shipping to their country and it winds up a big waste of time for all involved. Further, if anything else winds up going wrong with your device or you require other service, you would be looking at paying these charges again. We do accept international repairs, but need to be on the same page regrding the caveats involved.

How long does a repair take?

This really depends on what you're having done. Most screen repairs are done the same day. Same for keyboards, trackpads. Data recovery can be anywhere from one day to a month, motherboard repair can take anywhere from an hour to six weeks depending on the severity of the issue. For your particular situation, feel free to email or call us to enquire about the turnaround time for your particular device.

How do I pay?

We recommend that rather than pre-paying for a repair, you send it to us to have an estimate done, and then pay when the repair is done. We will send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay via credit card or PayPal.

I want you to ship my laptop to a different address than the address I specify when I pay my invoice at the end of the repair.

We can't do that. If you do not wish us to ship to a specific address, then please do not specify that address in your PayPal payment to us. We ship all repairs and parts to the address specified when you pay with PayPal, as per paypal's rules to maintian our seller protection.

I am going to ship you my device in its original retail packaging and I demand you save it.

DO NOT SEND US A BOX, CHARGER, OR CASING YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE BACK! WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHARGER, BAG, BOX, OR OTHER ACCESSORIES.

Some people find their Apple box sentimental to them. If your box is sentimental in value to you for any reason - DO NOT SEND IT TO US! WE FLATTEN THESE AND PUT THEM OUT WITH BAIL & GARBAGE COLLECTION NIGHTLY!

We are located in New York City, in a storefront. We have a total of 750 square feet, which 5 people use to repair dozens of machines per day. We have shelving in place to house hundreds of machines, but not boxes. All boxes received are broken down, cut up, and disposed of the moment they are received, no exceptions. If you send us your device in its original box, such as the box Apple sells you the Macbook in - you will not receive it back. It will be GONE!
