This machine is worth about $100, when it works. It is old enough that something is probably going to burn out, physically break, or die the moment you get it back. We highly suggest not spending any money on fixing this laptop. That said, if you really want us to - we will do it!.
Where do you get these parts from? Is this an Apple LCD?
It’s an LG, Samsung, AUO, LG, Chi Mei, or Toshiba. Regardless of the brand or model, what they all have in common is they will all work!
Unlike the many imitator services that buy these parts off eBay from the middlemen, we buy direct from the manufacturer. If you’re thinking of going with someone else, there’s a good chance they’re buying the part from us right after you checkout with them! We buy grade A+ LCDs in quantites of 200-1000 from Chi Mei & LG. The reason for our fast turnaround and low price is that we are the parts source.
One must keep in mind, however, that CCFL backlit LCDs like these have been out of production for over six years now. As a result, there is no possible way to install a "new" LCD inside one of these computers - new CCFL screens do not exist

Every device has something about it that makes it tricky to work on.
- We do not clinch your LCD’s backlight wire on the clutch cover, which causes the LCD backlight to die.
- We do not break the plastic clips that go around the bezel which causes the bezel to not sit straight.
- We do not use a 30 pin LCD or “compatible” LCD in place of the original. Your brightness control will still work when we’re done.0 cartons worth.
We warranty our service for one year.
If the LCD itself malfunctions within 1 year, you’ll get a new one installed for free. This warranty does not cover physical damage or cracks.
